The Protected Designation Origin (PDO) label is used for Samos’ enticing sweet wines, produced from the Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains variety, which is famous for its fine, small white berries. The fertile Samian land also produces exceptional honey coming from many species of trees and plants, quality virgin olive oil with a silky texture, aroma and unique flavor, premium quality herbs, fruit and vegetables as well dairy products and a variety of fish and seafood.
